What our clients say

Over the years we've worked with hundreds of clients, working together to ensure they get back to what they love most.

If you're unsure and want to put your mind at rest, why not read a few of our lovely case studies?

Nigel

Nigel was first referred to us by his physiotherapist. A keen marathon runner, who's progress had been blighted injuries.

Sofie

Sofie first came into clinic looking to rehab her knee and get back to an active lifestyle after a failed ligament...

Lydia

Lydia came into clinic 8 years ago with recurrent neck and shoulder pain from work habits.

Paul

With a history of recurrent back pain and having undergone an ACL reconstruction and follow up surgeries two decades previous, putting together a sustainable fitness routine that he could balance alongside other commitments had always proven a struggle. Paul has now consistently trained 2-3 times per week on a 1-to-1 basis for almost 10 years, keeping fit, strong, and robust. He can now enjoy ski trips with his daughters, charity netball matches against their school team, and get involved in reunion tag rugby matches with old school friends. Paul is a prime example of how coaching tailored around injury and lifestyle can lead to very real, very sustainable progress that promotes quality of life over simple weight loss or gain (although he is also now in great shape too!).

Fi

Fi came into clinic having been referred by her personal trainer following a skiing accident. After an initial clinical assessment she was referred for imaging which unfortunately revealed a ruptured ACL.

Beth

Beth first came into clinic with an injury sustained in the gym. After a period of initial rehab and very clinical, low-level rehabilitation, Beth embarked on a period of consistent training in the gym, programmed by Max, and has continued to enjoy an active lifestyle since. After trying her hand at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu she picked up running and hasn’t stopped since! She has competed in races from middle to long distance, balancing high volume running with a sustainable, impactful strength programme that has not only kept the initial injury at bay, but ensured that whilst picking up a new sport and going from zero to marathon distance, her body has always been able to cope with the demands of her training. “I highly recommend Max at MSC performance sports injury clinic. I started working with him 5 years ago with a knee injury for which I was given a rehab and strength programme. I decided to become a client for Max’s strength training services and never looked back! He’s programmed me to reach all of my goals from perfecting my form on various lifts, building muscle and strength, to running related strength and plyometrics work so I’ve been able successfully achieve fast times in all distances from 5km to Marathons.”
