Sofie's journey


Sofie first came into clinic looking to rehab her knee and get back to an active lifestyle after a failed ligament reconstruction.
After a short course of early rehab and treatment aimed at getting her back to living a pain free and active life she is now thriving, training regularly and performing at a very high level whilst still being coached and programmed by Max.
Over a number of years Sofie has committed to 2-3 strength training sessions per week almost without exception. She has kept key muscles around the knees strong and powerful, kept work-related repetitive strain injuries at bay, manage smaller complaints, and recovered from secondary surgeries. This work has allowed her to commit to other pursuits learning CrossFit, gymnastics, olympic weightlifting, and bouldering without having to limit herself or her training. A great example of the results you can see by committing to simple, progressive strength training in the long term!
